Annunziata Vestri

Annunziata Vestri - Amneris (July 9th, 12th, 17th; August 1st, 3rd, 14th, 16th)

Winner of “Lauri Volpi”, “Maria Caniglia” and Rosertum Lyric Contests, Mrs Vestri made her debut in 2003 as Suzuki in Madama Butterfly. An eclectic artist with bold acting qualities, she can boast a huge repertoire that spans from Bel Canto to Verdi and Puccini’s masterpieces. Annunziata Vestri regularly collaborates with theaters such as: Teatro dell’Opera in Rome, Teatro Regio in Turin, Maggio Musicale in Florence, Teatro Comunale in Bologna, San Carlo in Naples, Opéra de Montecarlo, Teatro Regio in Parma, Puccini Festival in Torre del Lago, Sferisterio Opera Festival in Macerata, Festival dei Due Mondi in Spoleto. Mrs. Vestri lately performed Irene in Donizetti's Belisario at the opening night season (2012) at the Bergamo Musica Festival, recently performed L’Arlesiana production by Rosetta Cucchi at the Wexford Festival Opera (cond. Angus) and at the Teatro Pergolesi in Jesi(cond. Cilluffo); La Clemenza di Tito (dir. Grinda; cond. Gelmetti)in Trieste; Rigoletto in Naples, Savona and Genoa (production by Rolando Panerai), where she also starred in Dvorak’s Stabat MaterCarmen in Livorno, Lucca and Genoa; Il Trovatore in Schenkenberg; La Traviata at the Teatro Petruzzelli in Bari, Ferzan Ozpetek directing; Madama Butterfly in Kiel. Mrs. Vestri made her film debut performing as Tisbe in La Cenerentola for the Opera movie directed by Carlo Verdone, conducted by Gianluigi Gelmetti and producted by Rada Film. Mrs Vestri returns to the Teatro Carlo Felice in Genoa where she recently performed Suor Angelica and Il Tabarro .

Annunziata Vestri will perform  Falstaff (Meg) in Marseille;  Madama Butterfly and Il Trittico (Damiano Michieletto directing) at the Teatro Petruzzelli in Bari; Andrea Chénier at the Teatro San Carlo in Naples; Tutino’s Le Braci at the Martina Franca Festival then on tour in Florence (Teatro alla Pergola).

 

Luca Dall’Amico

Luca Dall’Amico - Ramphis (July 9th, 11th, 17th, 18th, 19th, 20th, 24th, 25th, 26th, 27th, 31st)

Young and upcoming bass Luca Dall’Amico was chosen by Riccardo Muti for the role of Agamemnon in Iphigénie en Aulide at the Opera in Rome. He was one of the four soloists of the 2011 Ravenna Festival final concert conducted by Muti in Ravenna and replicated in Piacenza and Nairobi. He recently performed in Macbeth (Banco) and Attila (Leone) under the baton of Riccardo Muti at the Teatro dell'Opera in Rome; Le Nozze di Figaro in Ancona; Petite Messe Solennelle at the Teatro dell'Opera in Rome; Barbiere di Siviglia in Venice; Madama Butterfly and Tosca in Torre del Lago; Les Pécheurs de perles at the Teatro Regio in Parma; title role of Don Giovanni in Ivrea (Italy); Simon Boccanegra and Nabucco with the Teatro dell’Opera in Rome on tour in Tokyo.

Plans include: Il Campiello at the Opera in Florence and Aida at the Teatro dell’Opera in Rome.

 

Rosanna Lo Greco

Rosanna Lo Greco - Sacerdotessa* (July 9th, 11th, 17th, 18th, 19th, 20th, 24th, 25th, 26th, 27th, 31st; August 1st)

Young and upcoming soprano Rosanna Lo Greco graduated with honor at the Conservatory Benedetto Marcello in Venice and she is now furthering her studies under the guidance of Mariella Devia. Rosanna Lo Greco won numerous prizes in important international Contests such as: A.G.I.M.U.S in Rome (2009); AsLiCo (Teatro Sociale di Como); finalist at the Santa Chiara Contest in Naples (2011 and 2012). She recently won the role of Musetta in La Bohème at the 2013 Arena di Verona Competition. In the past seasons she performed as Musetta (La Bohème) in Treviso and Genoa; Fiordispina (L’impresario in angustie) in Venice (Teatro Arsenale); Susanna (Le nozze di Figaro) in Udine and Trieste; First Dame and Papagena (Die Zauberflöte) at the Teatro Regio in Turin, Comunale in Bologna, and on tour in Italy in Como, Brescia, Reggio Emilia, Cremona, Milan (Arcimboldi), Rome, Pordenone; Frasquita in Carmen at the “Marghera Opera Festival” in a cooproduction with the La Fenice in Venice. Rosanna Lo Greco had recently performed in Il Trovatore(Ines) at the Sferisterio Opera Festival in Macerata, Paolo Arrivabeni conducting, Norma (Clotilde) in Cagliari

Among her future projects it is worth mentioning La Bohème (Musetta) at the Teatro Filarmonico in Verona.

  

Giorgio Trucco

Giorgio Trucco - Messaggero (July 9th, 10th, 11th, 12th, 17th, 18th, 19th, 20th, 24th, 25th, 26th, 27th, 31st; August 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 7th, 8th, 9th, 14th, 15th, 16th, 17th)

After his debut at the Teatro alla Scala in the new production of Nina, ossia la pazza per amore, Riccardo Muti conducting, Giorgio Trucco was invited in important musical institutions such as: Maggio Musicale Fiorentino, Rossini Opera Festival in Pesaro, and Rossini Festival in bad Wildbad, San Carlo in Naples, Opéra de Montpellier, Toulon and Nice. Giorgio Trucco collaborated with Gerd Albrecht, Ivor Bolton, Giuliano Carella, Mark Elder, Marco Guidarini, Zubin Mehta, Riccardo Muti, Roberto Rizzi Brignoli. Latest engagements include: La Forza del Destino in Pisa; Falstaff in Ravenna and on tour in Italy, Cristina Mazzavillani Muti directing; Aida (Radames) at the Teatro del Maggio Musicale Fiorentino in Florence; Maometto II at the Teatro dell’Opera in Rome; Macbeth in Toulon; Tosca at the Teatro Nazionale in Rome.
